Our approach: Involving You in Your Pet's Health care
Wellness Care:
We believe prevention is the best care; not only is prevention better for your pet but also avoids more illnesses, heartache and expenses over the lifetime of your pet.  This includes annual physical health exams, laboratory work, nutritional conseling, vaccines. parasite prevention, regular dental care, microchip pet ID's and a variety of other services.
Innovative Veterinary Medicine and Surgery:
If your pet comes in injured or sick, we are here to provide your pet with compassionate, comprehensive care, skilled veterinary care. Our advanced diagnostic capabilities such as in house laboratory and digital radiography allows us to work quickly to provide an accurate diagnose and treatment recommendations; minimizing your pet's discomfort and your worry.
Mix of Traditional and Alternative Therapies:
Once diagnosis is determined there are treatment options available to you and your pet.  We offer traditional health care as well as alternative therapies just as laser therapy and acupuncture.
In the Community:
We pride ourselves in our relationship with the pet aid program in Port Alberni and the West Coast.  We partner with programs such as the SPCA, C.A.R.E.S., Valley cats and many other external aid programs. We are participants in the SPCA silent auction every year and SPCA Sweet Treat Week.
Appointments:
We are often busy; if you are booking for preventative health care examinations please book well in advance. If your pet is ill we do have emergency only examinations appointments that are booked the same day. We strive to help your pet as soon as possible but we do often have to triage the severity of your pet's condition. We know your pet means the world to you and they do us as well. In emergency situations we may have you drop off your animal so they can receive care quicker.
