Dr. Hayley Doody, BVMS

Dr. Hayley grew up in Calgary but moved to BC in 2005 on a swimmers scholarship to attend the University of BC. She attended UBC and competed nationally for 5 years before moving to Perth Australia and attending veterinary school at  Murdoch University. Dr. Hayley has a strong interest in feline medicine and has a talent for dermatology, a very frustrating and complex field of medicine.
Dr. Hayley joined the Manzini Team in April 2015. Her philosophy of compassionate care for pets and education for clients is ideal to our practice ideology. Dr. Hayley enjoys swimming, hiking, biking and savoring an excellent wine while playing board games with friends.  Hayley and her husband Tom (a local lawyer) have been enjoying what Port Alberni has to offer.  They are joined by there 3 furred friends; Charlie a 3 legged dog adopted here in Port Alberni from the SPCA. Dr. Graeme amputated her right hind leg after a serious hit by car and it was love at first sight.  Gemma and Tigga are their 2 cats, they were rescued in Australia in veterinary school and followed them home to Canada.
Dr. Hayley is currently on maternity and looks to be off until October of 2019.
