Holly and Alix graduated together from North Island Collage with veterinary assistant certificates in 2017. Holly is a cat lover and her cat "Luna" reaps the benefits as do our feline patients. Holly secretly loves to mess around with cars and sews a mean seam. Holly also likes to explore her artistic side drawing and painting.

She enjoys hanging out by a backyard fire in the evenings or weekends with her children and boyfriend Mike. Cat also supports her kids in all their endeavors whether it is soccer, track or bowling championships. Cat is a friendly and firey little Italian whose size does not reflex the size of her heart. She is always there when clients or staff need a shoulder.
Jen Towell Jen is one of our client reception team members at Manzini, and has been with us since 2004. Jen is knowledgeable, friendly and informative. Jen has gained valuable experience during her time here and at the SPCA in Vernon; if she hasn't experienced a pet-related situation, she knows someone who has! Jen has a hobby farm with 4 dogs ( Ketya, Piper, Hannah and Buffalo) , 3 cats (Zeus, Hera, and Winston), 2 rabbits (Phoebe and Finn), 2 horses (Hercules and Bronwyn), 2 ponies (Tessie and Mia), a donkey (Hank), 4 sheep (Bonnie, Brick, Flash and Maple), guinea pig (Wally), 4 ducks (Timber, Splash, Crystal and Diamond), 2 geese (new to them) and many chickens. I think she may be a bit overworked. Top service and a nice smile are pretty much guaranteed when you deal with Jen. Jen has been working Mondays for the last few years are she looks after her herd of pets and children. We are hoping we will be seeing more of Jen's smiling face in the future.

She has always had and loved the many cats and dogs that have shared her life. To this day her family still raises cows, chickens and ducks. Stacie has worked as a server and at the West Coast General Hospital. It was her love of animals that lend Stacie to applying to Manzini and it was her passion for pets that lead her to join our team. Stacie is a wife, a mom to 3 grown children and 2 furred family friends. Marty her cat and Jazz her lab. Stacie enjoys being outside, camping, mowing lawns and sitting around a fire with friends and family. Stacie loves things to be tiny and organized. She is very much looking forward to learning skills and knowledge of what it takes to look after out little (big), furry family friends.
TUCO Tuco is a 10 year old chronic wound rescue. Tuco joined the Manzini Team in April 2018. He thrives at sleeping, eating and providing after hours hospital monitoring. He is a great taste tester of bags of food even when they are not open. His nick name is the homeless man, but his days outside are done and over. We offered him access to outside and he looked at us like we were crazy, "Why would I go outside when I get free food, free house cleaning, and free cuddles. NEVER!". Tuco has gone on to his forever fat home with Dr. Lynne Copeland. Despite dietary restriction Tuco steals Lynne's neurological cats food all the time. As Stewart gets smaller Tuco gets bigger. Lynne is busy devising all sorts of methods to fatter up Stewart and thin out Tuco. He has officially taken over as master of the house and is a bit cheeky at times. I guess this suits him, he had a cheek lift when we replaced his large non healing wound.
